IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS
ITC Spa, Inc. strongly suggests that you contact your
local, qualified electrician and plumber to install your Footspa. It cannot
operate efficiently or safely unless it is provided with adequate electrical
power, sufficient water pressure, proper water temperature and required
drain facilities. Information on these important subjects is contained in
this manual. We urge you to read it carefully to make sure these
requirements are met.

exceed 100 degrees F.

carefully.

RECEIPT & INSPECTION

NOTE! Thoroughly inspect each shipment immediately upon arrival. It is
important that you notify the driver and insist on a notation of the damage.
Make this notation directly on the face of the freight bill or bill lading.
Failure to note damage on the face of the freight bill or bill lading may
impede and/or prevent any claims that you may have against the carrier.
If concealed loss or damage is found, you must notify
the carrier at once and request an inspection. DO NOT DISCARD THE SHIPPING CARTON. If you give the carrier a clear
receipt for goods that have been damaged in transit, you do so at your own

with water to above the 4 Jets escutcheon cover level.

the front of the Footspa and check for leaks at the drain overflow and all
inlet and suction fittings. After checking under the tub for leaks, press
the same button a second time to turn the pump motor "OFF" and drain the tub
of water.
OPERATION AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS
TO FILL: Close the
over-flow/waste control. Utilizing the single level faucet located on the
front of the Footspa, fill the tub with water. You must completely submerge
4 jets. If, during operation of the whirlpool, water level decreases, simply
add more water.
TO START: Press
button on the front of Footspa. Press again to shut off pump.
IMPORTANT!
DONOT turn the spa "ON" unless
adequate water is in the tub.
THE WARRANTY IS VOID WHEN THE
PUMP HAS BEEN RUN DRY.
SEAT & BACK ADJUSTMENTS
Both seat bottom and seat back are adjustable. Simply
press the appropriate button on the hand held control wand to change the
position
DO NOT BLOCK THE JETS DURING
WHIRLPOOL OPERATION!
CLEANING THE FOOTSPA:
Keep the lint screen on the suction inlet clean. Any
blockage or obstructions in the screen reduces the whirlpool action and may
cause damage to the pump. It is not necessary to remove the screen to clean
it, however it may be removed. To clean the screen, unscrew the fitting
cover. Remove any lint or debris and then wash the screen with a soft brush.
Replace the screen.
CAUTION!
Never run the whirlpool with the
screen removed.
CLEANING THE ACRYLIC
SURFACES:
Your Footspa will be a continual delight over the years
if you merely give it ordinary care. The Footspa is manufactured using the
highest quality materials. DO NOT USE
ABRASIVE PADS OR CLEANERS THAT WILL SCRATCH OR DULL THE PLASTIC SURFACE OR
THE METAL ACCESSORIES.
After the Footspa is cleaned with a non-abrasive
cleanser and thoroughly dried, a light coat of a qualified, clear liquid wax
(example: Future™) may be used to maintain a "like new" finish. However,
this wax must be used very sparingly, especially in the tub area itself.
The chrome plumbing fixture and fittings have a
baked-on coating which should be cleaned ONLY with gentle soap, warm water
and dab dry with a clean, soft cloth.
IMPORTANT!
Flush your whirlpool system twice a
month or more depending on usage.
CLEANING/FLUSHING THE
WHIRLPOOL SYSTEM:
It is recommended that the whirlpool system (includes
pump, jets, suction fitting, piping, etc.) be flushed periodically (Not
exceed 30 days). This is over and above the normal cleaning of the exterior
plastic surfaces. The interior of this system may be flushed as follows:
1.
Fill Footspa with hot water to required
level.
2.
Add 3 teaspoons of a low foaming dishwasher
detergent such as Calgonite or Cascade, and 2 ounces of household bleach,
such as Chlorox, to the water.
3.
Run whirlpool for 10-15 minutes and drain
Footspa.
4.
Fill with cold water to required level and
run unit for another 5-10 minutes. Drain Footspa, and wipe dry with a soft
cloth.
NOTE:
Whirlpool action can cause even a small amount of soap or body oil to foam
excessively. For this reason, refrain from using these products during the
whirlpool cycle.

inflamed or has an open wound. Consult a physician before using if you
